因附近的拖罗山而得名。^[1]

新中国成立初期属派西乡第八村，1958年三者分开，成立拖罗大队；1983年11月改称拖罗乡，1987年1月改称拖罗村民委员会。^[1]

村情介绍称，全村约2平方千米，山林3200亩、水田1100亩，12个合作社，320户1675人。^[1]
