新村是广东省湛江市坡头区官渡镇所辖的行政村，2026年3月被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

建国之初，新村隶属吴川县七区的石门乡。1958年建的是新村渔业大队，由龙头公社管辖；1979年3月随官渡公社另立而转属之，1983年4月改称新村乡，归官渡区公所。[1]

1986年设村委会，1990年2月改称管理区，1999年6月成立村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]

2019年9月，新村名列「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」；2026年3月，被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
