历史沿革[edit]
相传南宋时建山龙上社，村旁山岗弯曲起伏，形如蛟龙，故名山龙。[1] 1958年广州市在村内划地办国营九佛农场，山龙成为农场的一个作业区；1980年成立山龙大队村委会，由九佛农场管理；2000年转归白云区九佛镇管辖，2019年起属九佛街道。[1]
经济[edit]
村民种植水稻、木瓜、蔬菜，养鸡养鱼养猪，也外出务工；村内有多间养鸡场和鱼塘。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
武台寺在村内山岭环抱的山谷中。寺志载建于唐代，民间传说开山祖师是北宋杨家将杨五郎。[2] 1958年被完全拆毁，1998年释印幸法师到此发起重建，2017年被批准为佛教活动场所，大雄宝殿已重建；2024年通路通电。[2]
