历史沿革[edit]
南宋末年（约1270年）成村，原名文山村：当年杂姓人家住一侧，大姓文氏住另一侧，故以文姓为名。清光绪十九年（1893年）改称文边；人民公社化时为文边大队，1984年称文边乡，1987年设村民委员会[1]。
经济与荣誉[edit]
集体收入主要来自土地和厂房出租，2009年集体收入564.27万元[1]。2020年至2022年入选淘宝村名单；2025年6月入选「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」；百度百科称，该村于2020年纳入城市化管理区域[1][2]。
