石宁村是广东省湛江市廉江市塘蓬镇的行政村，在镇的西北部，距镇政府约0.5公里。^[2]村委会设在石宁村，辖19条自然村，村名来自当地较多的奇峰异石。^[1]^[2]

地名与沿革[edit]

村四面山水环抱，境内奇石较多，村民遂以「石宁」命名。^[1]早期石宁、南充、秧地头三处合称石宁乡；1958年建石宁大队，1983年设石宁乡，1987年改管区，1999年改为石宁村委会。^[1]

全村总面积6.73平方千米，辖石宁、充塘、石屋、锅厂、竹园等19条自然村，共1072户、4756人，其中常住3479人；种植以水稻为主，耕地约1160亩，林地2625亩（含促生林2000亩）；养殖生猪、鸭、鸡和鱼类。^[2]村域内有饰面用花岗岩矿的开发利用项目，方案已通过专家评审并公示。^[2]

2019年9月，石宁村列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。^[1]
