新联村是杏坛镇东南的行政村，距中心城区5.5公里，占地6.21平方千米，户籍人口5393人[1]。1998年由北沙、聚胜、蒲洲三个管理区合并而成，取“新联合”之意定名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网转录的资料，再后1958年北沙、蒲洲、聚胜分别设生产大队，接着1963年合并为新联生产大队，随后1976年再分设；其后1998年7月，依上级合并小村的精神，三个管理区重新合并为新联管理区，同年9月成立村委会[1]。村内有四乡公路，东海水道、马宁水道流经[1]。
