历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网转录的资料，此地原为滩涂，最早发现一种蓈树，称古蓈，后作古朗，分东、南、西、北四约；南约人多自成一村，称南朗，曾用名南古朗，别名上古朗[1]。邹姓之后，陈、梁等姓陆续迁入[1]。1950年属登云乡，随后1952年属民主乡，其后1958年属古朗大队，之后1961年成立南朗大队，再后1999年定名南朗村委会[1]。

百安公路横过村境；南朗村与龙潭村的基塘整治区被定为“顺德万亩农田示范区”[1]。
