高赞村是杏坛镇东南部的行政村，与容桂隔河相望，距镇中心区5公里，占地10平方千米，户籍人口10013人[1]。南宋末年龚、萧、王姓人在河滩高处垦荒，村名高坦，明洪武十四年（1381年）取谐音改作高赞[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网转录的资料，村落位于河滩高处，故称高坦；至明洪武十四年（1381年），村民嫌“坦”字不雅，用谐音改为“赞”[1]。旧称三十六乡；光绪十年（1884年）顺德划为十区，锦鲤沙属第八区，此称沿用到杏坛人民公社成立；其后1999年改称高赞村委会[1]。村分高东、高南、高西、高北四片，共37个村民小组[1]。
经济[edit]
高赞村2020至2022年连续入选淘宝村名单，之后2019年9月又进入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单[1]。
名胜古迹[edit]
高赞梁氏大宗祠在东胜大街1号，清乾隆十三年（1748年）建，光绪二十三年（1897年）和1997年重修[1]。
