东南村是大田镇的行政村，因位于朗底东南方向而得名，分为15个村民小组，有牛栏屋、牛坳、河塘、白石岭等。^[1] 村内的牛栏屋村是恩平四处天然地热泉点之一，镇上的锦江温泉景区也在这一带。^[1]^[2]

历史沿革[edit]

东南在1958年是生产大队，之后改称乡（1984年）、村民委员会（1986年）、管理区（1989年）；1998年10月，恩平市人民政府批准定名东南村民委员会，沿用至今。^[1]

村在大田镇西北部，距镇政府约10千米，东邻良西镇，南接北合村，西连朗西村，北靠朗北村。^[1] 据村委会概况（以2009年前后数据为主），全村1016户、农业人口3520人，耕地1889.4亩（水田1217.4亩、旱地672亩），种植水稻、香蕉、莳菇、莲藕等。^[1]

牛栏屋村的地热泉天然出露，水温接近70摄氏度，日涌水量超过6320立方米。^[2] 锦江温泉为国家4A级旅游景区；此外盛林生态旅游区也在东南村和岑洞一带。^[1]^[3]

镇里以东南村的红色文化和特色村落为依托，投入93万元打造红色之路，把励英学校旧址、镬盖山六壮士公园等串连起来。^[4]

2017年10月，东南村获「第一批广东省卫生村」称号；2022年1月被确定为「2021年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；东南村的牛坳村于2023年5月获评「2022年广东省卫生村」；2026年1月，东南村获评「广东省第二批"百千万工程"典型村」。^[1]
