新联村是汕头市潮南区胪岗镇西南部的行政村，位于大南山北麓，西与两英镇接壤，总面积9.5平方千米，其中耕地2943亩、山地5500亩。[1] 2013年3497户、20962人，是全镇人口第二多的村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中、新联、新民原是同一条溪港发源地分出的三个聚落。[2] 博雅地名网记新联村创于明永乐元年（1403年），1950年属港头乡，此后曾称新联大队、新联乡，1986年起设村委会，其间一度称新联管理区。[2]
经济[edit]
以农业为主，集体经济较弱。村内有生产五金制品的太阳光不锈钢实业有限公司。2008年建了村敬老院，乡亲还捐款改造供水管网和港头公路。[1] 2022年10月进入淘宝村名单，2023年5月被授予2022年广东省卫生村。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
吴延峰墓在南鼎山山地，明代古墓葬，2010年3月22日公布为汕头市文物保护单位。[2]
