新联村是封开县杏花镇的行政村，属广东省肇庆市。是镇里较偏远的村，种植以油栗、沙糖桔为主。位于镇南部，面积约20平方公里，分22个村民小组，博雅地名网记人口2685人，离镇政府驻地4公里。[1]

该村的建制自1950年的乡民会起，依次经乡政府（1953年）、初级社（1955年）、高级社（1957年）、生产大队（1958年），到1987年称村民委员会。[2]
地名由来[edit]
新联之名始于解放后建立乡政府，公社化设大队时沿用。[3]
