新安村属广州市增城区中新镇，是镇辖的行政村。博雅地名网所载村情记其面积3.97平方千米，耕地约960亩，户籍人口957人（235户），流动人口6人，下辖9个自然村、11个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

由部分村民自大安大队迁出另建新村而得名。[1]

新安村的集体组织始于1956年成立的新安高级农业生产合作社。两年后实行人民公社化，村隶属中新公社，当时的生产大队叫新安大队；1959年福和从中新公社划出，村随之改属福和公社。1983年公社改区，大队改称乡，1987年撤乡设村、成立村民委员会，仍归福和镇管辖，2004年福和镇并入中新镇后改属中新镇。[1]

村情称村里正在筹建篮球场和一座建筑面积308平方米的老人活动中心。[1]
