池岭村属广州市增城区中新镇，是镇辖的行政村。博雅地名网所载村情记其面积5平方千米，耕地约978亩，户籍人口1670人（347户），流动人口4人，下辖6个自然村、15个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

四周山林环绕，中间是一小块盆地，形似池塘，故名“池岭”。[1]

池岭村的集体组织始于1956年成立的池岭高级农业生产合作社。两年后实行人民公社化，村隶属中新公社，当时的生产大队叫池岭大队；1959年福和从中新公社划出，村随之改属福和公社。1983年公社改区，大队改称乡，1987年撤乡设村、成立村民委员会，仍归福和镇管辖，2004年福和镇并入中新镇后改属中新镇。[1]

池岭与从化交界，村情提到当地有相传的“仙人迹”、天然形成的“石狐狸”石岩，以及出过不少人才的“大夫地”祖祠。[1]

池岭村于2021年11月获评2020年度「广州名村」。[1]

据百度百科，村民以郭姓为主，清康熙年间迁入定居；“仙人迹”景点伴有一棵五百年的枫香古树；村里规划油茶产业园3200亩，已种植1100亩，并有以“池岭酿”为品牌的糯米酒酿特色产业。[2]
