新山吓村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇东部，东、南两面与博罗县石湾镇相接，姚姓是全村唯一的姓氏。[1]

村边有座小山，由原来的山吓村分出，原村叫旧山吓，这个村就叫新山吓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明嘉靖年间（1566年），村民的先祖从旧山吓迁来建村，称新山吓。村子1961年在新分出的三江公社下设大队，1987年设村委会，当时属三江镇；2004年三江并入石滩镇，随之划归石滩。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，全村9个合作社，310户、1192人，水田1482亩，其中约700亩出租给外地人种菜，鱼塘约750亩。[1]

2021年12月，广东省爱卫会授予新山吓村「2021年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
