旧山吓村是广州市增城区石滩镇下辖的行政村，位于石滩镇东部，东面是惠州博罗县石湾镇黄西村，有十二个合作社。[1]

村边有座小山，取名山下；后来有村民迁出另建新村，写作“吓”，这里便称旧山吓。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1956年合作化时与灯坣、新山吓、桥头同属永丰高级社；1958年属石滩公社13营；1961年三江公社分出，设旧山吓大队；1983年改旧山吓乡；1987年设旧山吓村民委员会，属三江镇；2004年三江并入石滩镇，改属石滩镇。[1]

人口与经济[edit]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，全村450户、1687人，主要姓姚、李；耕地2000亩，鱼塘1100亩，大多数耕地流转给种植大户。[1]

2019年9月上榜「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单，2023年5月获「2022年广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
