历史沿革[edit]

街心原属沙田村（1951年土改时称沙田乡），1993年从沙田村委会分出，成立街心村民委员会。[1]

人口与荣誉[edit]

据博雅地名网（未注明统计年份）的介绍，常住人口约550人，外加约200名流动人口。村党支部被评为镇里的先进党支部；2017年10月，街心村获广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「第一批广东省卫生村」称号。[1]
