车头村是广州市从化区鳌头镇下辖的行政村，村委会设在镇域北部。[1] 全村面积约6.8平方公里，村民小组共13个，村委会介绍的总人口为2475人（该介绍未注明年份）。村距从化城区约20公里，距鳌头镇中心镇区约10公里。[1]

车头村以粉葛作为特色农产。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网，1958年建立车头大队，到1983年12月改设为车头乡，到1987年1月改名车头村民委员会，此名沿用到现在。[1]

荣誉与名单

  • 2020年8月，车头村（粉葛）列入「首批广东省“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单。[1]
  • 2021年12月，车头村获「2021年广东省卫生村」荣誉称号（广东省爱卫会）。[1]

经济[edit]

村里的农业格局为：水田种水稻、花生，鱼塘里养四大家鱼、塘基上养瘦肉型猪。[1]

车头村在广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村中，以粉葛入选；镇的介绍中，粉葛制作技艺列在区级非物质文化遗产项目内，车头粉葛碌鹅是当地特色菜品。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

从化区人民政府于2015年发布的文化遗产普查推荐名单（历史建筑与传统风貌建筑线索）中，列有本村的北由门楼、传统民居群、玲洲门楼、美安书院、萧氏宗祠，共5处。名单所列只是普查线索，不等于已定级的文物。[3]
