历史沿革[edit]
村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载：村前的朱砂河在此形成一处深湾，往来客商必须摆渡过河，故称渡头，后改写为埠头。[1]
民国时期，埠头属大胜乡。1953年另设埠头乡，1955年入高级社，1958年冬设管理区办事处，1959年冬改称生产大队。1983年改称乡，1986年称村民委员会，1999年定名埠头村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要种植水稻、玉米、马铃薯、木薯；特色收入来源有养殖三黄鸡，种植粉蕉[1]。
