车头村在武江区西联镇南部的北江岸边，东邻西河镇的村头、大村，南隔江与浈江区六合村相望，西接下胡村，北靠西联、芙蓉两村。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1951年立车头乡，1958年名为车头大队，1983年更名为车头乡政府，1987年更名为车头管理区，1998年立车头村委会。[1]
经济[edit]
全村3个自然村，298户、1421人，农业以水稻和蔬菜为主，水上货运建有多个码头；西联大道穿村而过，通往京珠高速。[1] 2019年9月，列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
