白沙村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，在广从公路东边，辖地约4.5平方公里，14个村民小组，人口6400多，距镇区5公里，村委会设在校兴街8号。[1]

地名由来[edit]

南宋时黄姓在此定居，见鱼塘底全是白色沙泥，称“白沙塘村”，后省去“塘”字。[1]

经济与荣誉[edit]

集体收入主要靠铺位出租，并有花岗岩采石场；农业种水稻、花生和蔬菜。2025年6月获认定为「2024年度广州市级美丽乡村」；2020至2022年列入淘宝村名单；2021年12月获广东省卫生村称号。[1]
