地名由来[edit]
村名有两说：一说宋末建村，村后山岗似兔，称白兔村，“兔”“土”谐音，惯称白土；一说清乾隆年间沈姓从鸦湖村迁来，宅基下是白色素土，因而得名。[1]
经济与历史[edit]
村里引入电器厂、印务公司等企业，增加集体收入和就业。1958年设白土村大队，1984年改乡，1998年改为村民委员会。2020至2022年列入淘宝村名单。[1]
