地名由来[edit]
相传林姓始祖林肇基于明代从番禺穗石村迁来建村，村旁有五条水坑，分别从五个山岗流下，故称五龙岗。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放前属禺北，1949至1953年属番禺县第八区，1953年起属广州市郊区，1986年设五龙岗村委会。2020至2022年列入淘宝村名单，2024年11月被认定为广州市充分就业村。[1]
