白沙村在惠东县安墩镇，新中国成立后由安墩、松坑、石塘合为一乡，称白茨乡，后来白茨改称白沙。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据博雅地名网，新中国成立后安墩、松坑、石塘三处曾并作一个公社，叫白茨乡，其后白茨改成白沙。[1]
白沙1949年称村，1950年属安墩区，称乡；1951年12月为第二十区（区府设在安墩）的小乡，1957年底并入松坑乡；1958年后依次为公社、大队、乡、大队，1987年3月依惠东府函〔1987〕19号文设村委。[1][2]
