竹三村属广州市白云区钟落潭镇，是该镇的一个行政村，位于竹汉路旁，面积约3.28平方公里，下分16个村民小组，人口约4386人，距镇区8公里，村委会设在竹三路2号。1958年竹料公社把竹料村分为三个大队，这里排在第三。[1]
地理与经济[edit]
村靠近白云国际机场和省足球训练基地，流溪河岸线长、水资源丰富。村里提出结合田园景观、体育训练场所和农业生产，发展休闲观光农业区的设想。2026年1月，获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1987年后大队改为行政村，2004年竹料镇撤并进钟落潭镇，村随之归钟落潭镇。[1]
