历史沿革[edit]
村名来自河沙：旧时河水冲下大量泥沙，在岸边形成白净的沙滩[1]。清康熙年间属吉迁乡隆湖都，光绪年间属村铺，称白沙圩；民国时先后属石狮乡、丰善乡；1958年为清塘公社白沙大队，1989年为清塘镇白沙管理区，1994年划归城中街道，1998年设白沙村民委员会[1]。
人口与经济[edit]
博雅地名网所载村情称，村委会辖9个村民小组，总人口1079人，主要特产为白沙笋[1]。白沙村在2026年3月进入广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇之列[1]。
