地名由来[edit]
村原叫米湖村，相传宋代建村，村东有座米岗山，因而称米岗村。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
村地处丘陵，山上种速生桉和松树，水田种稻谷、花生，并养鱼和瘦肉型猪。2020年8月列入「广东省首批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业村」名单（火龙果）；2026年1月获评「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。1998年设米岗村委会。[1]
