莲塘村是福建省南平市邵武市城郊镇下辖的行政村，位于邵武市郊区东南部，北面与市区相邻，博雅地名网称它为邵武市的南大门。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1951年设朱洋乡；此后，1956年另设莲塘乡，1958年成立莲塘大队，隶属城关公社。[2]

此前村域旧属邵武府朱羊二十九都。[1]

1984年改为村民委员会，此后地名未变。[2]

2024年1月，莲塘村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村内原有许多天然池塘，相传有九十九个，彼此相连，故先称「连塘」；后来塘中种上莲花，才改称「莲塘」。[2]

同青溪是富屯溪的支流，贯穿村境，全长4508米，沿途流经多个村民小组。[1]

村内有紫金山的辉铜矿和铁矿。武邵高速途经付一组、付二组等地，羊上组设有高速出入口；北与316国道相接，南与205省道相连。[1]

人口民族[edit]

安坪组村民为2006年8月自重庆市奉节县迁入的三峡库区移民。[1]

经济[edit]

2011年末，村域有耕地3881亩、林地21000亩；农民人均收入为9200元。[1]

耕地主要种植水稻、蔬菜和烟叶，林地盛产毛竹和木材。[1]
