莲塘村是广东省惠州市龙门县永汉镇所辖的行政村。[1]据当地说法，清代有人从山西、福建等地迁入广东，又有梅县嘉应州、新丰、增城的人迁到莲塘，至今200余年；此处山间洼地多积水塘，塘中种莲，因而得名。
历史沿革[edit]
1949年属四区永西乡，1951年归新陂乡，1957年属永汉乡新陂村；1961年为寮田公社莲塘大队，1963年并入新陂大队，1974年复称莲塘大队。1984年属新陂乡，1987年成立莲塘村民委员会，1989年称管理区，1999年定名莲塘村。[1]
经济[edit]
莲塘村以柑桔产业入选广东省农业农村厅2020年8月公布的首批「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村。[1]
