莲塘村是广州市番禺区石碁镇中心城区内的行政村，富怡路贯穿全村，土地总面积981亩，人口1285人[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
村名因居民聚居在一口较大的莲藕塘附近而来。相传南宋末年由黄礼用开村，称莲塘村。公社化期间曾和塱边合并，1961年分开，叫莲塘大队；后改称莲塘乡，1987年成立村民委员会[1]。
经济[edit]
自建厂房和商铺出租是主要经济来源，2009年全年经济总收入767万元，其中租金占94%[1]。莲塘村在2020年至2022年入选淘宝村名单[1]。
