历史沿革[edit]
村名取自驻地山咀村，1999年经县政府批准设立。建制几经变化：1964年前称长征社，其后15年（至1979年）是山咀大队，1980年起改山咀乡；1987年4月改作山咀村委会，两年后又称山咀管理区，到1999年定名山咀村民委员会。[1]
人口民族[edit]
下辖15个村民小组，有农户498户、总人口2131人（未注年份）。[1]
经济[edit]
耕地面积1550亩，距县城区约6公里，与历麻村相连，321国道穿村而过；村集体靠发包固定资产取得收入。[1]2026年3月，被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1]
