地名由来[edit]
成立高级社时由四个自然村合为一村，取“四季兴隆”之意，定名四隆。[1]
概况[edit]
下辖11个村民小组，总人口1982人；有水田835亩、旱地73亩。村中种有约30亩蔬菜基地、约20亩沙糖桔种苗基地和约30亩甘蔗基地。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1956年成立四隆高级社，1958年改大队；1963年同太原、四和一起并入新华大队，1976年自新华大队分出；1983年11月设乡，1987年起称村委会，1989年4月又作管理区，1998年定名村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
四隆村在2022年1月被省乡村振兴局列为2021年广东省乡村治理示范村的创建单位。[1]
