坑尾村位于忠信镇东北端，与浙江省龙泉市交界。村子坐落在两峡之间一条较长的溪坑尾部，溪流分段形成上、中、下三处小溪坑，合称坑尾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代隶安乐里，民国属游枫乡，1951年9月归第九区柘溪乡，1952年改为第十区游枫乡，1956年归仙阳区柘溪乡。1958年隶忠信公社游枫大队；1961年另设坑尾大队，归游枫公社管辖，1966年回归忠信公社。1984年起改为村民委员会建制，1993年起属忠信镇。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

福清山古道在本村，年代为唐至宋，属县级文物。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2011年度，本村被评为县级文明村，同时被评为省级生态村。2021年十一月，省级爱卫部门将本村认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
