东山社区是梅州市丰顺县汤坑镇设置的社区居民委员会，位于汤坑镇城区[1]。社区名称的来历：辖区在东山路一带，因而得名[2]。

历史沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载：1976年1月从红旗居委会分出，定名东山居委会；此后1999年改叫东山社区居民委员会。[3]
