历史沿革[edit]
1960年代初，永和从大榄公社分出，重新设永和生产大队；1994年改称永和管理区，1998年南海乡镇区划调整后设永和村民委员会；2005年并入狮山镇。[1]

据博雅地名网所录社区简介，永和有700户、约2250人，集体经济年收入四百五十多万元；村内有幼儿园、活动中心和市场各一处。2003年达到卫生村、文明村标准，2009年得到"十好"和谐文明村的称号，同时是廉政法纪示范村和民主法治村，2011年再创体育强村、生态村、平安村居、健康村。[2]
