坛头村是湛江市遂溪县江洪镇的行政村，历史上曾辖今北草、干塘一带。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立之初的1950年，这里设坛头乡；1953年撤乡，改办初级社，1956年建高级社。到1958年建生产大队时，辖区还包括后来的北草、干塘两个村委会，大队旧址上至今有保存较完整的住宅。北草大队于1963年分出，干塘大队于1980年分出。其后的变化是：1983年设乡，1986年设村委会，1989年设管理区办事处，1999年成立村民委员会，延续至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
坛头村在2019年12月进入「第一批国家森林乡村」名单；2026年3月获认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村镇」。[1]
