历史沿革[edit]
东山大队成立于1960年，1986年成为村委会，1988年成为管理区，1998年起成为村民委员会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年8月，东山村进入首批「广东省一村一品一镇一业专业村」名单，品类为菠萝。[1]
2023年5月，东山村新村和东山村被评为「2022年广东省卫生村」。[1]
2026年3月，东山村被认定为第三批「广东省百千万工程典型村镇」。[1]
