历史沿革[edit]
村名由来：村民住在山脚，山形像狮子，两座山夹着寨岗陂，东面有寨子顶山，村名取自这些地形。[1]
清代归博罗县苏州巡检司辖；民国时属第六区文化乡；新中国成立后编入獭子乡。1958年编为人民公社的寨岗连，1986年起为寨岗管理区，1999年改为寨岗村民委员会。[1]
