罗村社区位于佛山市南海区狮山镇，原属罗村街道，由罗东、罗南、罗北、寨边、中布五条村组成，面积4.5平方公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，罗村乡属南海县黄鼎司兴贤堡，而寨边那时属西隆堡。黄鼎司衙门设在村内的宁埠乡；1449年黄萧养起义，起义军占领衙门并驻兵扎寨，宁埠乡后来改名寨边村。[2]

民国16年（1927年）称五区，1946年改四区，1953年改十一区。1957年4月撤销罗村区公所，分设罗村、联合两个大乡；1958年10月成立罗村人民公社，随即并入幸福人民公社，1959年9月幸福公社改称罗村人民公社。1983年设罗村区公所，1987年2月建罗村镇，辖罗村村民委员会。2011年“村改居”设居民委员会，2013年归狮山镇。[2]

经济[edit]

社区常住人口5285人，另有外来暂住人口4000多人，辖区内有商场、小学、幼儿园等配套设施。[3]历年的淘宝村名单中，罗村社区在2020年、2021年、2022年都在其列；佛山市2024年8月公布的「“百千万工程”第二批典型镇村」名单里有罗村社区；2026年1月，它又被评为「广东省第二批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]

据百度百科，2022年社区村、组两级的集体资产合计超过6亿元，辖区内设有地铁罗村站。[4]
