朗沙社区位于佛山市南海区狮山镇，原为罗村街道西南部的朗沙村，又名塱沙，北江水流经村南，面积约2.4平方公里。[1]
名称由来[edit]
“塱”是方言用字，指江湖边的低洼地。村内河涌纵横，属水乡地貌，故称塱沙，现写作朗沙。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代归南海县黄鼎司的兴贤堡管。1953年以前，由寨边、甘坑、上罗沙、下罗沙、钟村、南星合成寨沙乡；1953年后与罗村合并，称罗寨乡。1958年公社化后称罗沙大队，1963年称朗沙大队。1983年11月设乡政府，1987年2月改村民委员会，1989年6月称管理区，1999年4月复称村民委员会。2011年“村改居”设居民委员会，2013年归狮山镇。[2]
经济[edit]
村下设下沙、上沙、钟家、南星4个村民小组，户籍3479人，另有流动人口2700人左右；企业以工艺陶瓷、木制家具和五金加工为主。2026年3月，朗沙被认定为「广东省第三批“百千万工程”典型村」。[1]
