颜峰社区是佛山市南海区狮山镇辖下的社区，原为大沥镇颜峰村，辖内葫芦岗有南宋宰相叶颙之墓，为广东省文物保护单位。[1]
地名由来[edit]
据博雅地名网所录地名解释，南宋福建仙游人叶颙任南海县主簿，后官至宰相，辞官后落籍此地建村，取名颜峰。[3]
历史沿革[edit]
颜峰在民国时期是大圃堡的辖地；1963年并入大沥公社后叫东方红大队，后改称颜峰大队。1983年设乡，1987年改村民委员会，1989年改管理区，1997年又回到村民委员会。2011年“村改居”成立居委会，2013年随区划调整由大沥镇转归狮山镇。[1]
经济与概况[edit]
村情介绍（经博雅地名网转录）称，颜峰面积9.428平方公里，常住7240人，辖8条自然村、10个村民小组，另有大布墟居委。2009年农村经济总收入约5.15亿元，工业产值约3.67亿元；工业企业近三百家，棉纱原料厂与五金厂居多。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
叶颙又名叶正简（1107年至1195年），是兴化军仙游县人，于南宋绍兴元年（1131年）考中进士，后做到尚书左仆射。他的墓在颜峰村的葫芦岗上，被公布为第十批广东省文物保护单位。[1]
