历史沿革[edit]
最早的建制是1958年8月成立的狮北大队；其后依次为狮北乡（1983年5月）、村民委员会（1987年10月）、管理区（1989年）；1999年恢复村民委员会之名，2005年隶属狮山镇。[1]
地理环境与人口[edit]
据百度百科，村域面积10.2平方千米，其中耕地4899亩、鱼塘2043亩；村民小组含西社、南社、黄马坑等19个，常住3460人（1120户），另有外来暂住人口约2800人。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内银岗山上有树本善堂，山上设有狮山邓氏纪念馆，春季有祭祖习俗。[2]
