大罗村是广东省江门市开平市苍城镇最北面的行政村，北邻鹤山市宅梧镇，距苍城墟18公里，属山区老区村，在镇内位置最偏。[1]

居民祖上陆续来自新会、龙胜石桥和韶关一带。村子四面是山、居中为平地，像一只盛稻谷的大箩，「箩」谐音写作「罗」，村名由此而来。[1]

民国时期，这里归开平县一区东河乡；1949年之后先后划入十区大罗乡。[1] 1958年隶东河公社，叫罗村大队；1963年转入苍城公社，改叫大罗村大队。[1] 1984年成立大罗乡人民政府，1987年起称大罗管理区，到1999年才改名大罗村民委员会，一直沿用。[1]

博雅地名网的介绍（未注年份）写道，村里有8个村小组，户籍548户、2530人；鱼塘1000亩、山林1.8万亩、农田约4000亩，工业用地约30亩，还有一处面积210平方米的临街铺面。[1] 村集体收入靠出租厂房和场地、发包山林、承包农田鱼塘等；2010年集体纯收入8万元。[1]

2017年10月，村被广东省爱卫会定为第一批广东省卫生村；2019年9月进入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；2020年8月，以蔬菜入选首批广东省「一村一品、一镇一业」专业村；2026年3月又被认定为广东省第三批「百千万工程」典型村镇。[1] 镇里的「数字乡村」积分制，也以该村作试点。[2]
