历史沿革[edit]
民国时归狮山乡管，1954年10月单设狮南乡。[1]1958年，莲子塘、莲塘两村与它合成狮南大队；1961年两村分出，狮南一度叫良濠大队；1964年三村又合并；到1978年莲子塘、莲塘再次分开。[1]乡政府成立于1983年，村民委员会设于1987年，2005年起归狮山镇。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
据百度百科，村以渔业、家禽养殖和花卉种植为主，村域面积约6.7平方千米，户籍人口2943人。[2]该村被列为佛山市乡村振兴示范村创建单位（2021年），并获广东省卫生村称号。[2]
