历史沿革[edit]
民国时期这里是南海县第四区的小塘乡，辖小塘、江湄、新境。[1] 小塘镇在2005年1月与狮山街道、松岗镇、官窑镇合并为狮山镇。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
据百度百科，广三铁路穿过原镇境约15公里，设有小塘站，火车站旧址和黎边村的明清古建筑群（含镬耳屋、宗祠）留存至今。[2]
