南安社区是汕头市潮阳区贵屿镇西南部的社区，西面与揭阳普宁市南径镇相接，以杨姓为主，是多姓聚居的村落。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区在贵屿镇西南部，东靠练江支流，南面与玉窖、后望、新厝三村相邻。总面积1.524平方千米，耕地1071.2亩；博雅地名网记有1151户、5895人（未注明年份）。2013年工农业总产值17475万元，工业部分为16751万元，农业部分为724万元，农民人均的纯收入为6556元。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

“南安”的取义，据说是南风和暖、安宁吉祥。[1]北宋大观年间（1107至1110年），先人来此立村，居民来自多个姓氏，以杨姓居多，最初叫“杨什村”；1949年改称南安村并划入贵屿辖区，1958年编为生产大队，此后依次改为乡（1984年）、村委会、管理区（1988年），1999年改为居民委员会。[1]

南安是贵屿双忠祭典的重要祭拜点之一。[2]2023年5月，南安社区被广东省爱国卫生运动委员会授予“2022年广东省卫生村”称号。[1]
