西美村是汕头市潮阳区贵屿镇的行政村，坐落在小北山西麓，辖区内有汕头市文物保护单位小北山玉音碑。^[1]^[2]

地理环境[edit]

村面积4.71平方千米，耕地1781.1亩、林地2989.4亩；2013年底共1564户、8599人。当年工农业总产值13706万元，工业部分为12342万元，农业部分为1364万元，农民人均的纯收入为6655元。^[1]

村在小北山的西麓，原称“西尾”，后雅化为西美。清康熙年间（1661至1722年），先人来此定居；1958年编为生产大队，此后依次改为乡（1984年）、村委会、管理区（1988年），1999年重又称村委会。^[1]

小北山玉音碑在村内的小北山上，立于明代，属石刻类，2014年10月10日列入汕头市文物保护单位。^[2]西美村入选2020年、2021年和2022年的淘宝村名单；2021年12月获评“2021年广东省卫生村”；2023年4月列入「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村创建单位名单」。^[1]
