新村在三角镇，是该镇的一个行政村，城乡分类为村庄。全村朱姓村民都是迁入此地的，因而取名新村。2024年3月，该村获「2023年广东省卫生村」的命名。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

1998年设立新村村民委员会；在那之前，1949年时此地属顺天乡公所，1950年归大湖公社新村大队，1987年改称大湖新村管理区。[2]
