东坑镇是广东省汕尾市陆河县东部的一个镇，东面与普宁市相连，西面接河田镇、上护镇，南靠河口镇，北邻水唇镇；镇区离县城约5公里。[1][3] 它是榕江水系的发源地，也是陆河青梅的主产区之一，境内的共光梅园每到冬末花期都有外地游客前来赏梅。[1] 1974年由水东公社分设为公社，1993年3月撤乡建镇。[3] 下辖1个社区、13个行政村。[8]

历史沿革[edit]

当地的说法是，东坑旧称东里，镇内的主要河流（方言里河称作“坑”）向东流，因此得名“东坑”。[3][4] 它原属水东公社，1974年6月，竹园、东坑、富口、福新、大溪、塔丰六个大队与高树坪林场划出，另设东坑公社，并新添了丰田、石塔、大新、大路、榕江、新东、共光七个大队。[3] 其后的建置变化依次是：1982年（博雅地名网记为1983年）改区公所，1986年（博雅地名网记为1987年）改乡，1993年3月改乡为镇。[3][4]

据博雅地名网，东坑镇在2026年3月进入广东省“百千万工程”第三批典型村镇之列。[4]

地理与人口[edit]

全镇面积约78平方千米，山地约10.5万亩，耕地8164亩；县政府网站的镇简介说全镇有5945户、27487人，分属13个行政村、66个自然村。[1] 镇政府的村情页则称辖1个社区、13个行政村，下设68个村民小组。[8] 第七次全国人口普查（2020年）时，全镇人口为1.38万人，在陆河县各镇中居第7位。[4] 两组数字相差很大，口径未见说明，故并列写出。

镇域位于中纬度亚热带湿润季风气候区；省道S335线穿过镇区，县道X092线通往普宁市，距潮惠高速陆河东出口4公里。[1] 境内有花岗岩、稀土、钾矿等矿藏，建有6座水电站。[1]

经济[edit]

青梅是全镇最主要的作物：种植面积4万多亩，共光、石塔、大新三村各建有千亩以上的标准化示范基地，主栽品种为白粉梅和青竹梅。[1] 东坑镇2019年12月被列为广东省首批旅游风情小镇，2020年8月，凭青梅进了省农业农村厅公布的第二批“一村一品、一镇一业”专业镇；2022年9月公布的2021年中国百强镇名单中，它列第98位。[4] 2023年又获“广东省休闲农业与乡村旅游示范镇”称号。[3]

此外，各村另有特色作物：共光村种油茶，石塔村种茶叶，大新村种蜜柚，丰田村种鹰嘴桃，2020、2021年先后入选省级“一村一品”专业村名单。[4] 陆河县的地名文化资料还称东坑是“柿饼之乡”。[3]

文化[edit]

东坑的民俗活动有三项被列为非物质文化遗产。东坑地景在2007年6月列入广东省第二批省级非遗名录；据传它最早可追溯到清乾隆三十年（1765年），由上屋村的先祖彭简宜从苏州府引入，以戏曲人物和传奇故事编成情景节目巡游，现有省级传承人彭细强。[5][2] 东坑粄景出自上罗角村，据说始于清康熙三十四年（1695年），是市级项目；村人在元宵前后于村中搭灯棚，挂灯笼，陈列各家做的粄塔、糕塔、果塔。[2][3] 每年正月初四至二十日举行的庙会（俗称“等王爷”），东坑范围内十几个村委、六十多个自然村按次序轮流迎驾，参加者最多时约2.5万人，聚云寺庙会、神农庙庙会均为县级非遗项目。[2][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

共光梅园在共光村，镇简介称其为万亩梅园，已配有停车场、观光路、农家乐和标识等设施。[1] 梅园内的聚云寺原名磜头庵（另有寨头庵之称），县人民政府的资料称它始建于唐开元年间（713年至741年），清康熙年间重修时改名；而镇政府网站据清乾隆三年（1737年）的“永守香灯碑”，只说建于明代。[3][2] 寺里还有红军第四十九团宿营的遗址，2010年起其庙会列入县级非遗，2025年又入选陆河县十大推荐旅游景点。[3]

尖山寺在高树坪村的尖山顶，海拔500多米，始建于清光绪三十二年（1906年）；这里曾是海陆丰人民自卫队东北大队的驻地，山上立有纪念亭、纪念碑和英烈亭；这处旧址在2005年被汕尾市定为爱国主义教育基地。[2][3]

东坑神农庙遗址在大路村，据县的地名文化资料，始建于明崇祯十二年（1639年），为太常寺少卿叶高标所建，建筑面积约500平方米，2022年3月，汕尾市政府将其列入第三批市级文物保护单位。[3] 镇政府的介绍则引乾隆十年（1745年）《陆丰县志》，说当时陆丰县的先农坛和耕藉田就在今大溪輋一带，神农庙的历史至少有260多年。[2]

客家古建筑集中在新东村：新东村的庆钟楼与渐逵轩相距约200米，前者2012年5月被公布为首批陆河县文物保护单位，后者1998年列为县级文物保护单位；村中另有上屋祖祠遗址和朱氏宗祠。[2][3][6][7] 中镇寨又名学堂墩，在东坑村，占地6000多平方米，一说建于明中期，一说建于万历年间（1573年至1620年）。[2][3] 此外，石塔村有南慈庵，大新村有大溪輋天主教堂，镇简介还提到石塔观音庵。[1][2]
