东坑村为广东省江门市鹤山市鹤城镇东南部的行政村，紧邻共和镇和址山镇，新325国道经过。全村面积约6平方千米，共10条自然村，301户1148人[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
溪水自东向西流过村前的坑口，村名由此而来[1]。这一带清代归附城都管辖，民国时划入三区；1957年纳入鹤城乡，1958年随红旗人民公社设东坑大队；1983年鹤山县设鹤城区公所，改称东坑乡；1986年起隶鹤城镇，名为东坑管理区；至1998年，改建为村民委员会，沿用至今[1]。
经济[edit]
耕地1820亩。村集体收入靠出租商铺和大楼，村民人均年收入5870元（博雅地名网所述，未注明年份）；村里配合征地，市工业园落户东坑[1]。
