东坑村属雷州市客路镇，在湛江市境内，是镇下的一个行政村[2]。其建制沿革与所获荣誉见下。
历史沿革[edit]
东坑1961年设大队，1983年设乡，1987年2月改村委会，1989年称管理区，1999年定为村民委员会，沿用至今。[1]
荣誉[edit]
- 2019年9月公布的「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单中，有东坑村。[1]
